The A Singles featured Maine newcomer but seasoned veteran play Horace Benjamin dominating the open singles. His strong play was demonstrated against both Witner and Klugman during decisive matches. His only loss was to 1994 champion Greg Born. The Over Forty title was hotly contested and featured Howard Reben with his best finish in years. At one point he was within three points of the Over Forty title.
